Shannon brings more than 23 years of experience in the advertising industry, with the majority of her career rooted in Detroit and a decade spent in Los Angeles. Most recently, she served as a multi-platform media seller at Warner Bros. Discovery (formerly Turner Broadcasting), representing world-renowned brands including CNN, TBS/TNT, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and HBO Max.
Her extensive background spans media sales, account management, business development, and category leadership, working with clients across automotive, technology, and entertainment sectors.
A proud Western Michigan University graduate and longtime Adcraft volunteer, Shannon is deeply committed to Detroit’s advertising community and excited to help shape its future through her leadership.
As Events Manager, Debbie oversees all Adcraft events including planning, implementation, management and promotion. In her role, Debbie works with the Executive Director and Events Committee to help to maintain Adcraft’s vision and goals for each event while ensuring flawless experiences for all event participants and sponsors.
As Marketing & Social Strategist, Avery oversees Adcraft Detroit’s social media channels. From crafting compelling copy to designing visuals, she fuels engagement across platforms, from Facebook to Instagram. Avery’s role extends to event support, membership management, and even web design, ensuring Adcraft’s 2,200+ contacts stay connected.
As a proud graduate of Eastern Michigan University and a Certified Nonprofit Professional, Avery began her nonprofit career in My SISTAH’s Keeper in St Criox, Virgin Islands and Growing to Give before joining Adcraft Detroit to help enhance engagement with those new to the marketing/advertising industry. A catalyst, Avery’s goal is to help others reach their education and professional goals with the help of the Adcraft Detroit community.
