Come hear Tony discuss Buick’s plans for the future, including his thoughts on “experiencing the new Buick,” a campaign that extends the idea that Buick’s “expectation-shattering” vehicles are so much better than before, consumers don’t even recognize them as Buicks.

Tony’s nearly 30 years of experience with GM is helping him navigate his current assignment which he accepted in 2011 – an assignment including providing senior leadership and strategic direction for U.S. Buick and GMC marketing functions like marketing, communications and product strategy.

Tony began his career with GM in 1988 and has held numerous management positions since then, including product and marketing director of the Chevrolet Volt, one of the most decorated vehicles, earning Motor Trend’s Car of the Year and 2011 North American Car of the Year. He has also spent time as vice president of sales, service and marketing for OnStar.

His experience has equipped him for keeping up with ever-changing consumer expectations. He says “experience the new Buick” is about taking the false familiarity consumers think they have with Buick and helps bring to life what today’s Buicks are. “Lots of consumers have a dated perspective of the brand,” he said. “But we have some all-new vehicles and we have refreshed others. Buick is a luxury brand, but it’s also approachable and inviting and warm.”
