  • Previous coordinator/agency experience (minimum 1year)
  • Knowledge of ad campaign, print production and OLA fundamentals
  • Knowledge and understanding of proofreading symbols
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take direction yet work independently
  • Excellent PC Skills  - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Understanding of Adobe Software capabilities such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and Flash
  • Understanding of creative design terminology such as pdf, jpgs, psd, etc.,
  • Logical thinker/problem solving skills
  • Marketing, Advertising and Communications knowledge
  • Client Services
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and leadership skills
  • B2B knowledge is a plus
  • Presentation and business writing skills
  • Comfortable with PowerPoint, Excel, other business software

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule start of work meetings
  • Stay abreast of the projects in the Creative Department and follow up on due dates that are established for copy and layouts for Account Review
  • Route internal “Readers” and Printers Proofs through appropriate agency personnel (Production, Proofreading, Creative Director, Account Services, and Creative Team) to prepare for client review and final approval
  • Work with Production Managers to amend project timelines
  • Monitor project timeline to ensure timely delivery of program deliverables
  • Update Status Reports by Client on an ongoing basis
  • Meet regularly to keep Production Managers informed of any conflicts, delays, postponements or other unusual situations that may hinder meeting the established project timeline
  • Submit proofs either electronic or hard copies to Account Executive for client review and final approval
  • Release of Ad Files to Publications or Print Files to Vendors
  • Maintain orderly sequence of signed “Readers”  in the job jacket
  • Maintain Asset Library by client base
  • Purchase Stock Photography when necessary
  • Assist with additional requests from Production Managers as requested
  • Cross train with other Production Coordinators in the Department
