NEW BREAKOUT SESSION FORMAT:
Each student will have the opportunity to attend 3 out of the 7 new breakout sessions below. During each breakout session, you will listen to how these professionals got started in their careers, the path they took to land the job they have now and how their jobs interact with one another. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the panel. Please review the session choices carefully and decide which three you would like to attend. You will register for them during your online registration process.

Breakout Room 1
This session will include a panelist of professionals in the following positions:

This session will include a panelist of professionals in the following positions:

This session will include a panelist of professionals in the following positions:
  • Public Relations

NETWORKING LUNCH:
During lunch, there will be more than 50 working professionals from all areas and experience levels to mingle and eat with. This is your opportunity to ask questions that you didn't get a chance to in the breakout sessions, make priceless connections with professionals in the career you're interested in and get valuable advice from them. Feel free to walk around, join conversations and network with as many professionals as you can!


HR PANEL:
Hear it straight from the recruiters! At AdCon, we will have Human Resource representatives from every major ad agency in Metro-Detroit to give resume dos & don'ts, critique real resumes, give interview dos & don'ts, and tips on putting your creative portfolio together.


COST:
$25 in advance (through 11/14)
$30 at the door
Free for professors, student advisors (i.e. AAF or other student organization advisors, who are usually professors or faculty also), and faculty (people employed full-time by the university). Just e-mail us at adconinfo@adcraft.org and let us know you're coming!
